5 accused arrested in gang rape case with woman

A case of gang rape has come to light with a woman in Vishrampur area of ​​Chhattisgarh. The incident took place on Wednesday night, when the victim’s husband was out of the house in connection with work. Meanwhile, 4-5 people of the village entered the house and carried out the incident. On the complaint of the victim, the police registered a case and arrested five accused. All the accused were coming from Uttar Pradesh and living in a colony near the railway station and working as laborers.

According to the information, the 35-year-old victim had been living with her husband in a rented house for three years and was working hard. At the time of the incident, her husband had gone from her village domestic work in Korea district four days ago. The victim said that at around 8.30 pm on Wednesday night, Mohammad Ghulam Qadir and two people named Officer Ali alias Thuthuwa reached her house and started inquiring about her husband.

Around midnight, when the victim was sitting outside the house, Gudakhu was decorating, then Kadir and Thutuva reached there with three other colleagues and forcibly pushed her inside the house. After this, the five accused raped her together. The victim informed her sister about the incident, after which the matter reached the police. On the complaint of the victim, the police arrested the five accused under sections 70 (1) and 331 (8) of the Indian Penal Code.

All the accused are residents of Uttar Pradesh

The police under the leadership of Vishrampur police station in -charge Alrik Lakra detained Negulam Qadir and Thutuwa. During interrogation, he along with three other colleagues confessed to gang -raping the woman. The police arrested the five accused Ghulam Qadir (40), Adhikari Ali alias Thutuwa (34), Mohammad Islam (55), Azad Lalan (25) and Mohammad Ramadan (50). All these accused are originally from Uttar Pradesh and were living in wages in Vishrampur. After presenting in the court, all the accused have been sent to jail.
