Parliamentary Affairs Minister said- State Government has full rights to create or abolish districts

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Jogaram Patel said in the Legislative Assembly on Thursday that the state government has the power to construct, end or change the districts, areas, divisions etc. of the state. The state government can constitute/restructure new districts, subdivisions, tehsils, sub -tehsils and villages in the state.
Mr. Patel, while answering the question asked by the member of the Legislative Assembly during the Zero Hour, said that the state government has full rights to create or abolish the district according to sections 15 and 16 of the Rajasthan Land Registration Act 1956.
He said that the current committee has been determined on the basis of Paramesh Chandra Committee formed earlier and accordingly. There was no political influence in this. Currently, the decision to abolish the districts has been made only after a complete close and intensive study. In this, 9 of the new districts have been abolished on the basis of the basic parameters like geographical location, population, administrative system, backwardness and basic facilities.
Mr. Patel said that the state government is always taking necessary steps for the benefit of the common people of the state. The state government has decided to abolish the districts with full transparency, fairness and far -reaching thinking.
