Controversy over the survey of Jama Masjid in Sambhal, Owaisi and Madani’s sharp reaction, demand for quick decision from the court.

The controversy regarding the survey of Jama Masjid located in Sambhal has deepened. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi reacted sharply to the issue, saying courts should nip such cases in the bud so that the Places of Worship Act can be followed. At the same time, Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind President Maulana Mahmood Asad Madani called it a threat to the secularism and peace of the country, and also condemned the efforts to uproot old disputes.

In this case, the Hindu side claimed that Jama Masjid was earlier Shri Harihar temple, and now an order has been given to survey the mosque premises. The report is expected to be submitted by November 29. However, the Muslim side is expressing displeasure over this survey and considering it a cause of communal dispute.
