Admission starts from nursery to first class in Delhi, more chances of admission in schools near home

The admission process for nursery, KG and first class in the country’s capital Delhi has started from today, November 28, for the academic session 2024-25. Parents can apply for admission of children through both online and offline modes. A fee of Rs 25 has been fixed for applying. Parents need to keep in mind that the last date for application is 20th December.

Chances of admission will increase on the basis of distance

Parents often turn to well-known and reputed schools of Delhi for admission of their children. However, education experts say that instead of running after only well-known schools, it is very important to apply to schools close to home as well.

In many schools of Delhi, a points system is implemented for admission, in which points are given based on the distance from home to school. In some schools these marks can be from 70 to 80. In such a situation, the chances of getting admission in nearby schools are higher.
