Australia bundled out for 104 runs in Perth Test. Bumrah’s brilliant bowling created a big upset.

The first Test of the five-match series between India and Australia is going on at the Optus Stadium in Perth. On the second day of the match, due to the excellent performance of the Indian bowlers under the leadership of captain Jasprit Bumrah, India restricted the Kangaroo team to just 104 runs. Team India, which had scored only 150 runs in the first innings, thus got an important lead of 46 runs. Bumrah completely troubled the Kangaroo team with his bowling and took five wickets, due to which the Australian team made its third lowest score at home.

Kangaroo team made the lowest score against South Africa
Australia’s lowest score came against South Africa in Hobart in 2016, when it was all out for just 85 runs. After this, the team made the second lowest score on its soil against England in 2010, when it was all out for 98 runs against the English team.

Kangaroo team collapsed for 104 runs
Apart from Bumrah, from India’s side, Harshit Rana took three wickets and Mohammad Siraj took two wickets and destroyed the Kangaroo batsmen. During this period, no batsman could even cross the 30-run mark. Mitchell Starc scored the highest score of 26 runs, while Alex Carey contributed 21 runs. The team’s most successful batsman Steve Smith could not even open his account and was out LBW on Bumrah’s ball. With this brilliant performance, India forced Australia to register their second lowest score on their home ground.

Australia’s unwanted record
With this match, Australia has joined another unwanted list by scoring just 104 runs at the Optus Stadium in Perth. Earlier, India being all out for 140 runs in 2018 and being all out for 150 runs in the current Test were also among the lowest scores at Optus Stadium.
