Bihar Agriculture Minister Mangal Pandey reached Bhagalpur, where he held a meeting with the officials. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bhagalpur is proposed on February 24. During this time he will communicate with the farmers and will also address a public meeting. On this occasion, Prime Minister will release the 19th installment of ‘Kisan Samman Nidhi’ from Bhagalpur, which will benefit 80 lakh farmers of Bihar.

Minister Mangal Pandey told the media that the announcement of the formation of Makhana Board in the recently introduced general budget is important for the farmers of Bihar, as 85 percent of Makhana is produced in Bihar. This step will increase the export of Makhana and farmers will also benefit on a large scale. Also, due to the formation of Green Field Airport in Bhagalpur, exports will be further enhanced by air. He also informed that the amount of Kisan Credit Card has now been increased from 3 lakh to 5 lakhs, which will help the farmers more.

Minister Pandey also said that PM Modi’s Kisan Sabha will be held at the airport ground in Bhagalpur, which will include several ministers of the Central and State Government. This program is associated with the Department of Agriculture and all its preparations are being done by the Ministry of Agriculture of both the governments. Activists of NDA constituents are actively engaged in this work.

Apart from this, Mangal Pandey also reacted to the statement of RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav, in which he said that the next Chief Minister of Bihar will be Tejashwi Yadav. Pandey said that those who looted the treasury of Bihar and went to jail. The people of Bihar will not let him become the Chief Minister. On Rahul Gandhi’s statement on caste census, Pandey also said that Rahul Gandhi does not have the right information about this issue.
