In Bhagalpur, Friday’s weather was mostly dry, with clear skies. Daytime temperatures felt humid due to the sun, reaching a maximum of 29°C, while the minimum temperature in the morning dropped to 13.5°C. The humidity was high in the morning at 86%, and there was light fog early in the day. Westerly winds continued to blow at a speed of 3.2 km/hour, making mornings and evenings cooler.

According to the India Meteorological Department, the weather in Bihar is expected to remain dry and clear with minimal changes in temperature between November 30 and December 4. There may be light fog in the mornings, but overall, the weather will be consistent. On Saturday, Bhagalpur saw less fog, and people experienced mild cold in the morning.

Cyclone Fangal Impact Unlikely in Bihar

Bihar is not expected to feel the impact of Cyclone Fangal, which has hit the Bay of Bengal. The Meteorological Department has not issued any alerts for the state, and the weather is predicted to stay normal with no significant disturbances. Light to moderate fog may affect several districts, particularly in the mornings, for the next 48 hours.

Cold Wave in Kosi-Seemanchal Region

The cold is beginning to intensify in the Kosi-Seemanchal areas, including districts like Purnia, Katihar, Supaul, and Madhepura. These areas have experienced fog over the past few days, and the cold may become more pronounced due to western disturbances. However, the weather in these districts will remain dry, with the possibility of a severe cold spell expected after a week.

Bihar residents can expect clear skies and chilly evenings for the next few days, with the cold gradually increasing until early December.
