Brunson and Towns Shine as Knicks Cruise Past Suns in Dominant 138-122 Win

Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns delivered powerhouse performances to lead the New York Knicks to a commanding 138-122 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night.

Brunson exploded for 36 points, while Towns added 34, as the Knicks extended their winning streak to four games and improved to 9-6 for the season.

Knicks Dominate Early and Never Look Back

New York came out firing, outscoring Phoenix 44-28 in the first quarter and building a 76-58 lead by halftime. Brunson led the early surge with a near-perfect first half, scoring 23 points on 8-for-9 shooting, including a flawless 4-for-4 from three-point range.

Josh Hart delivered an all-around performance with 19 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists, while all five Knicks starters finished in double figures.

The Knicks’ offense was firing on all cylinders, shooting an impressive 58.1% from the field and 48.7% from beyond the arc. New York also controlled the boards, out-rebounding Phoenix 41-34.

Suns Struggle Without Key Stars

Playing without injured stars Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, the Suns (9-7) struggled to keep up. Devin Booker led Phoenix with 33 points on 12-for-23 shooting, while Jusuf Nurkic posted a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Phoenix briefly cut the Knicks’ lead to 88-77 in the third quarter, but New York quickly shut the door with an 11-2 run, putting the game out of reach.

Defensive Lapses Doom Suns

The Suns’ defense couldn’t contain the Knicks’ high-octane offense, allowing efficient scoring both in transition and from the perimeter. Royce O’Neale added 17 points for Phoenix, but defensive breakdowns and turnovers were too much to overcome.

Knicks Heating Up

With this win, the Knicks continue to build momentum as their stars shine and their offense clicks. As New York climbs the standings, their recent dominance signals they’re becoming a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference.

The Suns, meanwhile, will hope for the swift return of Durant and Beal to get back on track.
