Prior to the results of the Delhi Assembly elections, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi has expressed suspicion of disturbances in Maharashtra elections. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that 32 lakh new voters were added in 5 years between Assembly 2019 and Lok Sabha 2024 in Maharashtra. He alleged that 39 lakh new voters were added in 5 months between Lok Sabha 2024 and Vidhan Sabha 2024. The Congress MP asked that the question is how more voters were added within 5 months? Rahul Gandhi has sought information about the voter list. He said that the Election Commission did not respond to our apprehensions.

Rahul alleged that the increase of 39 lakh voters between Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Maharashtra is equal to the population of the entire state like Himachal Pradesh. He said that the Election Commission should bring transparency, it is its responsibility to provide voter list of Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Maharashtra.

During this time, Shiv Sena-UBT MP Sanjay Raut, who was present in the press conference, said that if the Election Commission of this country is alive, his conscience is not dead, then the questions that Rahul Gandhi have asked should be answered to him. But the Election Commission will not answer it as the Election Commission is also slavery to the government.

At the same time, NCP-Sharad Pawar Party MP Supriya Sule said that the way our party was broken, MLA-Sansad was broken. Our fight is still going on in the Supreme Court… We requested the Election Commission to remove the tutri from the election symbol in the assembly. But he did not remove Tutari. Due to which we lost many seats…. It is a matter of election symbol, parties are subject to breaking, voter list is subject. The Election Commission should be fair.
