Controversial Video of UP BJP MLA Pradeep Chaudhary Goes Viral, Sparks Debate on Social Media
A video of BJP MLA Pradeep Chaudhary from Bulandshahr has gone viral on social media, drawing significant attention due to controversial remarks he made during a Janata Darbar at his residence. In the video, a Muslim youth named Fazlu can be seen approaching the MLA with a complaint about a local ration dealer, asking him to intervene and make a recommendation to the officer. In response, MLA Chaudhary tells Fazlu that he would not be able to help, explaining that despite feeding him a variety of nuts and dry fruits, he did not receive any votes from his village.
The video has sparked widespread discussion online, with many questioning the MLA’s comments. When contacted about the viral video, MLA Chaudhary clarified his position. He explained that he holds a public hearing at his residence every day from 6 a.m. to 12 noon, where constituents can raise their issues. He emphasized that he addresses all problems posted to the Jansunwai portal, ensuring that they are resolved without any discrimination, regardless of caste, religion, or background.
MLA Defends Government Schemes and Inclusivity
Chaudhary further explained that he had received a total of Rs 2.5 crore from the Chief Minister’s Fund, of which 70% had been allocated to Muslim individuals for serious medical treatments, such as cancer and kidney ailments. He also highlighted that 90% of beneficiaries for housing and other government schemes were Muslim, demonstrating his commitment to serving all communities impartially.
In response to the viral video, Chaudhary reiterated that his message was one of unity, quoting both Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who have urged citizens to remain united for the development of the country. He stated, “If you remain united, you will be safe. If you sit, you will be punished. This India should become a developed nation by 2047, and that can only happen when all religions and 140 crore people come together.”

While MLA Chaudhary maintains that he did not refuse the Muslim youth’s request, but rather encouraged him to join the BJP and emphasized unity, the video has raised eyebrows and led to debates on social media about the tone of his remarks and the dynamics of community relations in the region.
