Jaipur,

The State Land Development Bank will distribute long -term loans worth Rs 130 crore to 36 primary cooperative land development banks of the state. Minister of State for Cooperation (Independent Charge) Gautam Kumar Dak said that farmers and small entrepreneurs of all the districts of the state will now be able to provide long -term agriculture and unknown loans through cooperative land development banks.

Cooperative Minister informed that this loan will be made available to farmers and small entrepreneurs under the budget announcement of the state government respectively and 5 percent interest grant grant respectively. He said that due to lack of refinance from NABARD, for a long time, loan distribution was not being done by most of the land development banks under the said schemes. Loan distribution will now be possible as a result of re -issuing re -issuance by NABARD and reduction of interest rates by NCDC.

Mr. Dak said that as a result of providing interest grant by the state government, long -term agricultural loans distributed by Land Development Banks will be available only 5.05 percent and long -term unknown producing loans at an interest rate of only 7.05 percent.

It is noteworthy that about 15 such primary cooperative land development banks of the state, where long-term loan disbursements were not being done for the last 5-6 years, have also been allocated the targets of loan disbursement. These include Ajmer, Kekri, Tonk, Hindaun, Sawai Madhopur, Jalore, Pali, Sirohi, Baran, Bundi, Jhalawar, Kota, Banswara, Dungarpur and Udaipur Primary Cooperative Land Development Bank. This will prove to be an important step towards the revival of the state’s long -term cooperative credit structure.
