Agriculture Development Minister Shri Edal Singh Kanshana said that many welfare schemes have been implemented by the Central and State Governments in the interest of farmers. Farmers Welfare and M.P. Many facilities have been provided to farmers and traders under the State Agricultural Marketing Board.
Farmers can sell their produce sitting at home through MP Farmgate app. Arrangements have been made for control of illegal trade and inspection of warehouses through the Flying Scott app. The National Agricultural Market Scheme (E-NAM) provides information and services for the produce related to the agricultural market committees. Special provisions have been made in Madhya Pradesh Agricultural Produce Mandi (special license for more than one mandi areas) for spot trading through electronic exchange. This will directly benefit traders and farmers in getting good price for selling produce.
Alternative facilities have been provided to the farmers for the sale of fruits and vegetables outside the Mandi premises. Out of 259 agricultural produce market committees of the state, electronic weighing forks have been installed in 144.
81 lakh farmers are getting the benefit of Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana
The state government is continuously working for the prosperity and prosperity of farmers. More than 81 lakh farmers are benefiting under the Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana in the state. The 11th installment amount of this scheme will be released in farmers’ bank accounts on 10 February.
Under the scheme, farmers are provided an amount of Rs 6 thousand annually in three equal installments. So far, an amount of 14 thousand 254 crore has been transferred to the farmers’ accounts. In the year 2024-25, a provision of Rs 4 thousand 900 crore has been made for the scheme.
