In the Mokama firing case, former MLA and Bahubali leader Anant Singh, known as Chhote Sarkar, has received a major setback from the court. His bail plea has been rejected. In two cases, the Bell Petition filed on his behalf has been canceled by the court. Now they will have to stay in Beur Jail. Two FIRs were lodged against Anant Singh and his supporters. The court did not grant a bail to the former MLA in both the cases. While hearing bail on Wednesday, the court reserved the verdict. An appeal can be filed in the upper court on behalf of Anant Singh.
The court reserved its verdict in this case on Wednesday. A case was registered against Anant Singh in the firing case on January 22 in Mokama’s Panchmahla police station area. After which he surrendered. In the last hearing about this, the court demanded a case diary. In this case, Anant Singh surrendered in the flood court on 24 January. The court then sent him to Beur Jail in 14 days judicial custody. During the hearing on bail, a large number of his supporters were gathered in the court.
Let us tell you that on January 22, there was a firing between Anant Singh’s supporters and Sonu-Monu Gang in Nauranga Jalalpur village of Mokama. The firing by both sides claimed to have fired dozens of rounds. On the second day of the incident, Sonu Singh and an Anant Singh supporter were arrested by the police.
However, Sonu Singh’s father Pramod Singh had said that he handed over the son to the police. After that, Anant started demanding the arrest of Singh. The police started increasing pressure for arrest. On the same day, Anant Singh surrendered in court on the same day. A total of four FIRs have been lodged in this case. Anant Singh is accused in two cases.
