India beats Australia by 295 runs, takes 1-0 lead in the series

Before this match, India had suffered a defeat in the Test series at home against New Zealand, due to which the Indian team slipped to second place. At that time, Australia had made its place at the first place by defeating India, but India’s victory in the Perth Test brought them back to the first place. Now Team India’s winning percentage has reached 61.11%, while Australia’s winning percentage has come down to 57.59%.
India’s position in WTC points table
India now tops the points table released for the WTC final, while Australia has slipped to second place. After India, Sri Lanka remains at the third, fourth and fifth positions respectively with 55.56%, New Zealand 54.55%, and South Africa 52.94% winning percentage.
