Jasprit Bumrah gave a big statement on the captaincy of Virat and Rohit, will take command of India in Perth Test
Ahead of the first Test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy, India’s fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah answered many important questions in the press conference. Due to injury to Rohit Sharma, Bumrah will now captain in the Perth Test. On this occasion, Bumrah also shared his views on the captaincy of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
Bumrah said, “It is an honor that I have been entrusted with the responsibility of captaincy. Virat and Rohit’s leadership was different and my method is also different. It’s a privilege for me and I don’t see it as a position. I like to take responsibility. Rohit Sharma is our captain and he has done a great job.”
About Virat Kohli, Bumrah said, “I made my debut under Virat, he is a leader in the team and he is a great player for us. He remains an inspiration to the team with his professional approach.”
The first match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy will start from November 22 in Perth, and India will be hoping for a good start to the series from this match.
