Day two of the EPL 2025 mega auction is strategy time for the franchises. A huge amount of money was showered on the players on the first day, in which a total of ₹ 467.95 crore was spent on 72 players. Rishabh Pant created history by being sold for Rs 27 crore, while Shreyas Iyer was the second most expensive player. Now the question is which team will enter the auction on the second day with how much preparation.

Three players were worth more than Rs 20 crore on the first day, and all 10 franchises made big bets to meet their primary needs. As of now, many teams are in the process of preparing their squads, but they have limited balance and Right to Match (RTM) cards.

Possibilities of day two
Today is the day for all the teams to strengthen their bench strength and backup players. Teams like Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings could look at big buys, while Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders will have to take smart decisions with their limited resources.
