Mega Millions Jackpot Climbs to $541 Million After No Winner on Friday Night
The Mega Millions jackpot has surged to an estimated $541 million for Tuesday’s drawing after no one claimed the top prize during Friday’s drawing. The winning numbers for the Nov. 29, 2024, drawing were 3, 29, 34, 37, 38, with the gold Mega Ball being 17. The Megaplier was 2X.
Had someone held the winning ticket for Friday’s $514 million jackpot, they could have walked away with an estimated $244.7 million lump sum after taxes, according to the lottery.
In a recent lottery highlight, a lucky Mega Millions player from New Jersey won an astounding $1.1 billion in March. However, this massive prize has yet to be claimed, and it’s not the first time a jackpot has gone unclaimed.
A winner in Oregon did strike it rich in the Nov. 29 drawing, winning $1 million after matching all five white ball numbers, minus the Mega Ball.
How to Play Mega Millions:
To play, pick six numbers: five white balls ranging from 1 to 70 and one gold Mega Ball between 1 and 25. Players can also opt for a “Quick Pick” where the numbers are randomly generated. For an additional $1, players can add the “Megaplier,” which increases non-grand prize winnings by up to five times.
Tickets can be purchased at various locations, including gas stations, convenience stores, and grocery stores, or via the Jackpocket app in certain states. The current jackpot promises another exciting opportunity for players to test their luck, so don’t miss out on Tuesday’s drawing!
