MP Mahesh Kashyap raised Indravati river issue in Parliament, demanded a solution from Union Water Minister

With the knock of summer, the stream of Indravati river has started drying up. This has been echoed till Delhi, where Mahesh Kashyap, MP of the region in Parliament, has demanded a solution from the Union Water Minister.
Bastar MP Mahesh Kashyap told Parliament that the water crisis has deepened to Jagdalpur and around the diversion of Zora drain of Odisha, crops are drying up, farmers are not getting water. Here the administration is only giving assurance. The MP demanded a solution from the Union Water Minister between Chhattisgarh and Odisha.
On the instructions of the Union Minister, the Odisha government raised the structure of the Jora drain and the work of removing the sand in the river started, after which the farmers struggled to deal with the problem and now MP Mahesh Kashyap has hoped to get relief from raising the matter in Parliament.
