Political turmoil in Maharashtra, advice to Uddhav Thackeray to leave MVA, rebellion in Shiv Sena (UBT)
There has been an uproar in the politics of the state since the results of Maharashtra Assembly elections. Recently, the dilemma regarding the post of Chief Minister was ended in Mahayuti, but now the stir has increased in the opposition camp. According to reports, pressure has increased on Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray after the crushing defeat in Maharashtra. Many leaders within the party have advised him to separate from Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA).
After winning only 20 seats in the elections, resentment has increased among the leaders of Shiv Sena (UBT) and now voices of rebellion have started being heard. According to the report of ‘The Indian Express’, many leaders believe that Shiv Sena (Shinde) has replaced Shiv Sena (UBT). By becoming part of the Mahayuti, Shiv Sena (Shinde) has emerged as the second largest party in the state with 57 seats.
According to sources, many big leaders of Shiv Sena (UBT) including Aditya Thackeray, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut have advised Uddhav Thackeray to break ties with Mahavikas Aghadi. Now it will be interesting to see what action Uddhav Thackeray takes on this advice and what will be the next strategy of Shiv Sena (UBT).
