Team India’s star spin bowler R Ashwin conducted a mock auction on his YouTube channel ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction, in which Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) made several surprise buys. In this mock auction, the names of former Delhi Capitals opener David Warner and Rajasthan Royals fast bowler Trent Boult were included in the RCB team, which surprised the cricket fans.

RCB’s big purchase

RCB bought David Warner for Rs 5 crore and made Trent Boult a part of their team for Rs 13.50 crore. Warner is being seen as the opening batsman in RCB along with Virat Kohli, while Boult was bought to strengthen the fast bowling department.

RCB bought Venkatesh Iyer for Rs 12 crore in the mock auction, and added Will Jacques to their squad again for Rs 7.5 crore.

Interestingly, David Warner has scored the most runs against RCB in IPL. He has scored 985 runs against RCB so far, but this time he has become a part of the RCB team.
