Sourav Ganguly’s advice to Team India: Nitish Kumar Reddy gets a chance in Perth Test, send Shami to Adelaide

The first Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia will be played in Perth from 22 to 26 November, in which Team India may have to face some important changes. In view of the absence of Rohit Sharma and the fitness issue of Shubman Gill, former captain Sourav Ganguly has advised to include a young all-rounder in the playing eleven.

Ganguly believes that Nitish Kumar Reddy should be given a chance in the Perth Test, as his ability to bat lower down the order can balance the team. Along with this, Ganguly also recommended sending Mohammed Shami to Australia for the second Test, as Shami has made a great comeback in Ranji Trophy.

On this occasion, Ganguly also said that the defeat against New Zealand will not have any impact on this series, and the young players will now have to shoulder the responsibility.
