Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla has said that Madhya Pradesh government is constantly trying to improve health services in the state and to bring medical education to advanced level. The state -of -the -art cath lab machine is an important step in this direction to treat heart patients at Hamidia Hospital, Bhopal. He said that this machine will provide advanced health services to heart patients as well as Gandhi Medical College and Hamidia Hospital will get new heights in the field of medical education.
Dean GMC Bhopal Prof. Dr. Kavita Singh informed that approval has been given for purchasing state -of -the -art Cathlab machines at GMC Bhopal Hamidia Hospital costing Rs 7 crore 17 lakh. Head of the Department of Department, Dr. Rajeev Gupta, Head of the Department, said that this machine will promote the use of new techniques in heart disease treatment and simplify interventional treatment of complex heart diseases. Along with this, medical students, PG students and students doing super specialty courses (DM) will get training on state -of -the -art equipment, which will improve their skills. Testing, training and treatment through advanced equipment and modern machines will be excellent in all three areas.
