Tourism Minister Diya Kumari said in the assembly today that a decision will be taken soon regarding the resumption of Bahrod Midway on the outsourced method. The Tourism Minister was answering the supplementary questions asked by the member in this regard during the Question Hour. He assured the House that the midway will be started soon by taking a decision in this regard.
Earlier, in a written reply to the original question of MLA Shri Jaswant Singh Yadav, the Tourism Minister said that revenue was almost stopped due to the stoppage of passenger buses on the Bahrod Midway of Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation. It was decided to close it in state interest due to continuous commercial loss due to lack of adequate revenue acquisition by Midway Bahrod.
He said that no plan to repair the midway beaut is currently under consideration. The process of removing this midway on the outsourced method by the corporation is under consideration.
