Tragedy on Tracks: Speeding Train Claims Lives of Two Workers in Bihar
In a heart-wrenching incident in Bihar’s Khagaria district, two laborers lost their lives, and another was seriously injured after being hit by a speeding train. The accident occurred on Friday near Gauchari Halt on the Barauni-Katihar railway section, where the workers were conducting maintenance work along the tracks.

Victims Identified
Maheshkhunt Police Station in-charge Mithilesh Kumar confirmed the identities of the deceased as Mukesh Chaurasia and Arjun Sharma, both residents of Jhanjhra village. The workers were employed as private laborers.
The families of the deceased have been notified, and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination. Authorities are working to determine the circumstances that led to this devastating accident.
