Striking Design Updates
The Nissan Magnite facelift will showcase several cosmetic changes aimed at giving it a more aggressive and appealing appearance. The front end will feature a redesigned bumper and a new grille adorned with bold black inserts and chrome accents. While the headlamp units and LED daytime running lights remain similar to the outgoing model, expect some changes in the lighting elements at the rear, potentially with a smoked effect. Additionally, the rear bumper may also receive a new design touch.
Interior and Features
Recent teasers released by Nissan reveal that the 2024 Magnite will retain the dashboard layout similar to the outgoing model. The AC vents and HVAC control setup will largely remain unchanged, while the steering wheel will receive subtle updates with thinner spokes. The interior will boast a new two-tone upholstery and a fresh tan finish, enhancing the cabin’s overall aesthetic.
The facelifted Magnite is anticipated to come equipped with a larger 9-inch infotainment touchscreen featuring wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A 7-inch digital cluster for the driver is also expected, along with wireless charging capabilities. Additionally, a new single-pane electric sunroof will be available, integrated with an air purifier for added convenience.
Engine Specifications
The upcoming Nissan Magnite facelift is likely to maintain the engine options found in the current model. This includes both naturally aspirated and turbocharged variants, each powered by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine. The naturally aspirated engine generates 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque, while the turbocharged variant delivers a more robust 98 bhp and 160 Nm of torque. The naturally aspirated variant will be available with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT), whereas the turbocharged engine will offer a choice between a 5-speed manual gearbox and a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
Pricing Expectations
The current version of the Nissan Magnite is priced between ₹6 lakh and ₹11.11 lakh, ex-showroom. With the updates, a slight increase in pricing is anticipated, with estimates suggesting that the 2024 Nissan Magnite will start at approximately ₹6.30 lakh, ex-showroom. Despite the price hike, the Magnite is expected to remain one of the most affordable subcompact SUVs in the Indian market.
With its appealing design and enhanced features, the Nissan Magnite facelift is poised to attract a wide range of customers this festive season. Keep an eye out for its official launch on October 4!
