Belt Ceremony at IMA Karate Studio Recognizes Karatekas’ Progress

Ranchi: The International Martial Arts Academy (IMA) hosted a belt ceremony on Friday at the IMA Karate Studio in Bahu Bazar, where karatekas were awarded belts ranging from white to brown. Among the recipients was 43-year-old Ranthu Oraon, who was awarded the brown belt after starting his karate training at the age of 41, demonstrating remarkable dedication. In the junior category, 10-year-old Shivansh Rudra received the blue belt. Shihan Sunil Kispotta, the Technical Director of IMA, distributed the belts and certificates to the karatekas, celebrating their hard work and achievements.

Jharkhand Sub-Junior Sepaktakraw Team Selection Trials

Ranchi: The selection trials for the Jharkhand Sub Junior Boys and Girls Sepaktakraw teams will take place on December 1 at 8 AM at Jaipal Singh Stadium. Top players from various districts across Jharkhand will participate in the trials, and those selected will represent the state in the upcoming National Sub Junior Sepaktakraw Competition. The trials will be conducted under the supervision of Association Secretary Uday Sahu and Amarendra Dutt Dwivedi.
