Big step of Central Government, tourism will get new direction with 40 new tourism projects across the country.
The central government has approved 40 new projects to promote tourism in the country. The objective of these schemes is to promote tourism in those places where till now the number of people has been less. These projects will be implemented in 23 states, which also include states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
The total cost of these projects has been fixed at Rs 3,295 crore, which can give a new turn to the direction of tourism in the country. The Ministry of Tourism has issued guidelines to the state governments, under which the state governments will send their proposals to the ministry. In these proposals, priority will be given to those places where tourism can be promoted.
Through these schemes, it is expected that by focusing on new tourist destinations, the tourism sector of the country will be boosted and the local economy will also improve.
