Our villa boasted four spacious bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms that could be configured with either king-sized beds or singles. The added touch of two outdoor showers added to the tropical experience. The villa’s kitchen was fully equipped with every modern convenience, making group meals a joy, and the dining area allowed us to savor delicious meals while enjoying the company of friends. Casa Pili even offers the option of a private chef who prepares delectable dishes right at the villa—a true culinary treat!
One of our favorite features was the private outdoor yoga studio. Surrounded by nature, it provided a calming space for daily practice, enhanced by private sessions offered by our delightful host, Salha. The expansive terrace and pool deck allowed us to soak up the sun, unwind, and enjoy uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean.

Salha helped us arrange a spice tour, an incredible experience where we learned about the island’s famous spices, tasting fresh samples in lush, aromatic gardens. We also ventured into the vibrant markets of Stone Town, explored local restaurants, and enjoyed fresh seafood with stunning sunset views. The villa’s proximity to the beach allowed us to spend most of our days unwinding by the pool, enjoying the serene ambiance of this coastal paradise.

Salha and her husband Karl were incredibly attentive hosts, always available to offer recommendations and ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. Originally from Dubai, the couple has an impressive knack for creating a welcoming space that feels both luxurious and homely. Salha’s background in British-Omani-Zanzibari culture, combined with her local Swahili fluency, made her an invaluable resource in connecting us with the local community. Talented in her own right, Salha is a singer and author, while Karl, a skilled photographer from the UK, beautifully captures the magic of Zanzibar.
