King Charles and Queen Camilla Set to Visit Vatican in 2025 After Successful Tour of Australia and Samoa

Fresh off their recent 10-day royal tour of Australia and Samoa, King Charles and Queen Camilla are already making plans for their next international engagements. According to the Mirror, the royal couple is looking forward to a visit to Rome in 2025, where they are expected to meet with the Pope at the Vatican.

This exciting news follows Buckingham Palace’s announcement regarding the successful outcome of their recent travels. A palace spokesperson stated, “We are now working on a full schedule of foreign tours for next year, which promises to be a highlight for us as we consider the terms.” This reflects a renewed focus on international diplomacy and engagement following their travels to the Southern Hemisphere.

Although there have been no updates regarding the King’s health or treatment progress, the spokesperson noted that King Charles “really enjoyed” his tour, and that the programs in Australia and Samoa were “truly thriving,” significantly uplifting his spirits and aiding in his recovery.

After concluding their tour, the royal couple took some time to relax and rejuvenate at the luxurious SOUKYA resort in Bangalore, India. Priced at £3,000 per week, this retreat is a favorite among celebrities, including Emma Thompson and Desmond Tutu. Dr. Isaac Mathai, the resort’s founder, expressed his enthusiasm for welcoming the royals back, remarking that they are among the least demanding guests and enjoy every aspect of their secluded experience—whether it’s the morning yoga sessions, the strictly vegetarian meals, or the Ayurvedic treatments provided.

Dr. Mathai highlighted that Camilla is particularly dedicated, saying, “[Camilla] never skips a morning yoga session and actively engages in all the treatments we arrange for her.” He also noted that both she and King Charles enjoy the cuisine so much that they are willing to bring their royal chefs to India for training, expressing a desire to replicate the resort’s healthy offerings back home.
