Montreal Canadiens legend Carey Price made a surprise appearance at Rogers Arena on Tuesday night to watch his former team take on the Vancouver Canucks. The beloved goaltender was spotted in the locker room pregame, where he had a brief conversation with Habs captain Nick Suzuki.

The Canadiens’ official Instagram account shared a clip from the locker room during Price’s visit, but notably, the portion where Price and Suzuki spoke was muted.

“Rien ne bat une visite surprise de Carey 🐐 The most elite guest appearance #GoHabsGo @cp0031,” read the caption.

This led to rampant fan speculation about what the two were discussing. Even Angela Price, Carey’s wife, was curious, posting on her Instagram story:

“Had to run right to Carey to see what him and Nick were talking about that they had to mute 🤔. Ended up being nothing exciting, just the location of where some guys were going to be.”

After the game, Carey Price took time to sign autographs and take pictures with fans. Angela shared moments from their family’s game-day experience, including a funny tidbit about their daughter, Liv, who loves jumping into photos.
